Men plead guilty to shooting St. Joseph 2-year-old

A second man has pleaded guilty in a shooting that killed a 2-year-old St. Joseph girl.

Twenty-one-year-old Marcain Kimbrough-Ballard, of St. Joseph, yesterday admitted his role in the death of Raelynn Craig. Before pleading guilty to second-degree murder, Kimbrough-Ballard said he was in the backseat of a car and fired at another vehicle on Aug. 9. He said he did not know a child was in the car. Two adults in the car with Raelyn were injured.

Twenty-one-year-old Caimon Stillman, of St. Joseph, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder on Monday. A third suspect is scheduled to be in court Feb. 25.
